Walking Field Trip to Camp Kum-ba-yah

We took a walking field trip to Camp Kum-ba-yah on Tuesday morning. The kids had a lot of fun hiking through the woods and enjoying the outdoors. During our first part of the morning, we talked about Mammals and searched for Mammal tracks in the woods. Here are some pictures of what some of the students found:
After learning about Mammals, we went down by the creek and talked about Migration, Hibernation, and Adapation. We will learn more about these topics in the Spring. Again, here are some more pictures for you to see what we did!
A special thanks to those who went on the hike with us! Thank you very much moms! One last picture on our hike back! (You may get sick of pictures of our class by the end of the year! I do love pictures!)
